Who We Are
Landes Trucking was founded by Rusty Landes in 1977 in Jacksonville, Illinois with one truck and one trailer. The company now employs more than 175 people with a fleet of 125 trucks and 175 tanker trailers. A 16,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is home to our motor freight terminal with a certified Kosher tank wash, maintenance shop, and administrative offices. A second tank wash and maintenance shop is located in Neosho, Mo. Landes Trucking's facilities are strategically located to provide easy access to major interstates.
Charles Lawson started his trucking company in 1972 with one truck hauling livestock. The company has since grown into bulk liquid, reefer, and dry van business. The home of Charles G. Lawson Trucking is Hope Hull, AL that includes a freight terminal, maintenance facility and administrative offices. Maintenance facilities and terminals are also located in Port Barre, LA and Gainesville, GA.. Lawson Trucking now employees 200 people with 170 tractors and 260 trailers.
